Besty stepped by today and it felt like she never left. It does not take long to develop a good relationship with a puppy. With Besty however it was not easy. But in the end, she is the sweetest thing, very charming and passionately loving creature! Roxy was happy to see her too and gave Besty a ride in the cart!

Now Besty is cherished and loved by her new family. She became a good fit.

It took a couple of dates to adapt and to acclimate, but it is behind now!

Besty is surely missed, but lucky for us, she lives close by and hopefully will be visiting often!

Ever since I remember, I loved dogs. I loved cats too, and horses, and all animals in the Zoo. However, my only lasting relationships were with dogs, and overtime I could no longer imagined my life without them.

I was afraid of my first dog at times. It was a mini-Doberman pincher named Dryzhok (Buddy). When he gets a bone and hides under the chair to munch on it, Dryzhok would protect his bone and won't let me anywhere near it. I respected it (was scared), and I would not risk coming close. Other times we had all the fun in the world, running around in the yard and cuddling on the carpet (Dryzhok was not allowed on couch or bed). Dryzhok also helped me to do homework. I had to finish it quickly to go play with him).

Fast forward to my adulthood, when kids turned 3 and 8, we were ready for our first family dog. I was walking outside and saw a neighbor carrying a black ball of fur. When I came close, I saw a glimpse of white teeth and a red tong. It was a female New Foundland Puppy.
